We compute topological correlators in Landau-Ginzburg models on a Riemann surface with arbitrary number of handles and boundaries. The boundaries may correspond to arbitrary topological D-branes of type B. We also allow arbitrary operator insertions on the boundary and in the bulk. The answer is given by an explicit formula which can be regarded as an open-string generalization of C. Vafa’s formula for closed-string topological correlators. We discuss how to extend our results to the case of Landau-Ginzburg orbifolds. CALT-68-2412

We study closed N = 2 strings on orbifolds of the form T /Z2 and C /Z2. We compute the torus partition function and prove its modular invariance. We analyze the BRST cohomology of the theory, construct the vertex operators, and compute three and four point amplitudes of twisted and untwisted states. We introduce a background of D-branes, and compute twist states correlators.

The color superconductivity of a dense quark matter is reviewed with emphasis on the long range nature of the pairing force and the multiplicity of the order parameter. The former gives rise to a non BCS behavior of the superconducting energy scale and the latter modifies the critical value of the Ginzburg-Landau parameter that separates the superconductivity of type I and that of type II.
